Sechan Awarded Contract for Navy Quickstrike, September 2018
In September 2018, Sechan was awarded a $7,247,705 Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to fabricate, assemble, inspect, integrate, test, and deliver Targeting Detecting Device (TDD) MK71 MOD 1; TDD Adapter MK157 MOD 0; and Adapter, Ring, TDD MK163 MOD 0 (known as Quickstrike). The TDDs are electronic fuses that observe changes in the environment in order to detect ships and submarines.
Sechan’s Quickstrike contract is in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City, Florida under contract number N61331-18-D-0014.
