AS9100D / ISO9001:2015
Sechan maintains a dual Certification (Certificate Number 10197232) with registration data listed on the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS). Sechan’s assessor, Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), performed the certification in accordance with the requirements of AS9104-001. Our scope of approval is applicable to “Design, Manufacture, Integrate, Test and Sustain Electronic and Electro-Mechanical Systems and Assemblies. Specializing in High Reliability Military Applications.” Sechan’s Quality Management System (QMS) is used as outlined in our Corporate Document 90, Quality Policy Manual. The QMS is used to maintain product and process quality thereby reducing cost and risk to our customers. In addition, Sechan performs a full complement of internal audits with certified (PROBITAS Authentication) internal auditors against the QMS and the supporting procedures throughout the year to maintain a high level of awareness and compliance to the QMS.
IPC Certified
Sechan maintains manufacturing, inspection, test and support personnel which are Certified IPC (Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits) Specialists (CISs). Sechan has an in-house Training Center with four (4) Certified IPC Trainers (CITs). Certification is traceable through IPC Certification Portal.
NASA Standards for Space Applications
Sechan has select manufacturing, inspection, test and support personnel certified to NASA Standards 8739.1 and 8739.4 covering Polymeric Application on Electronic and Crimping Interconnecting Cables, Harnesses and Wiring respectively. Sechan has an in-house Training Center with two (2) NASA certified Level B Instructors. Certification is traceable through in-house records.
Cyber Security Compliance
Sechan’s cyber security compliance ensures the ability to meet the applicable contractual requirements.
Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 3
Sechan Engineering has a CMMI Level 3 compliant design process for Systems, Hardware and Software Engineering. The CMMI is a process and behavioral model that helps organizations streamline process improvement and encourage behaviors that decrease risk in product development. The CMMI defines the following maturity levels: Initial, Managed, Defined, Quantitatively Managed, and Optimizing.
