Sechan is an established, registered, and awarded employee-owned company that provides products and services to the aerospace and defense industry. The company’s capability, product quality, experience, and maturity minimize project risk and ensure continued customer satisfaction.
Our organization consists of:
- Engineering and inspection personnel with extensive industry experience
- Employee empowered teams to monitor, recommend, and implement product and process improvements

The company has resident Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) representatives and works with government and customer personnel to support project requirements.
Sechan maintains and operates a tool and equipment metrology function that meets and exceeds AS9100 requirements (including references ISO 10012-1, ANSI/NCSL Z540.1, and the now canceled Mil-STD-45662A) for accuracy and NIST traceability.

As a recipient of multiple DOD contracts, Sechan is more than just a subcontractor. Prime contracts constitute a significant percentage of our business. We understand the inherent needs, timelines, and sensitivities of all of our Prime customers. Sechan is prepared with operational strengths, standards, processes, and clearances that are necessary of a Prime. Sechan employees are trained to electronics industry standards workmanship criteria and are certified to IPC standards. Sechan has multiple J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721, and IPC-A-600 Certified IPC Trainers (CIT). These internal trainers utilize IPC lesson plans and team coaching concepts within a classroom structure.
